Timmerman School offers a fun filled summer program for children - kindergarten three through eighth grade. We have scheduled a broad range of activities to appeal to our children.
There will be movies, water activities,
field trips, music, movement, arts, and
crafts. Bowling, skating activities will be for
kindergarten five thru eighth grade. We have
again included the Odyssey Reading
Enrichment Program for the children, and
"Mary Poppins" will visit the younger children
with nursery rhymes and fairy tales. We will have special
activities with hands on math, and science for the students.
Short nature walks will give the children opportunities
to observe the wonders of our natural world. We will
listen and look for insects, explore puddles after
a summer shower, and play with streamers in the wind.
We will provide many relaxing experiences for your child. We want
to stimulate their interest, and broaden their vocabulary. We want
your child to be more observant and respecting of their environment.
The children will be encouraged to draw and write to document their
findings.
There will be outside games with the students
to improve their motor coordination.
To reserve space for your child, please complete, sign,
and date the attached form and return as soon as
possible. We expect a full registration and we certainly
don't want to leave out any present or newly enrolled
